I-10 Gila River to Gasline Road Mileposts 174 – 177

I-10 Gila River to Gasline Road will add a third general-purpose lane in each direction in the median of I-10, reconstruct the existing interchange at Casa Blanca Road/SR 587, and widen the existing crossroad and bridge at Nelson Road. Several other infrastructure improvements will be constructed, including freeway management systems that use a fiber optic backbone, cameras, and dynamic message signs.

Construction is anticipated to begin in late 2026 and last approximately two years. Cost for this project is approximately $152.6 million.
