No scheduled lane restrictions or closures for the I-10 wild horse pass corridor
I-10 Gasline Road to South of SR 387 Mileposts 177 – 187
I-10 Gasline Road to south of SR 387 will construct a third general-purpose lane in each direction in the median of I-10. A new interchange will be added to I-10 at Seed Farm Road to improve access for the Gila River Indian Community and the existing interchange at Pinal Avenue/SR 387/SR 187 will be reconstructed to enhance capacity and improve safety. The Gasline Road crossroad will be reconstructed and widened, while the crossroad at Dirk Lay Road crossing will be removed. Several other infrastructure improvements will be constructed, including freeway management systems that use a fiber optic backbone, cameras, and dynamic message signs.
Construction is anticipated to begin in late 2025 and last approximately two years, with an estimated cost of $284.0 million.
