Construction Updates
Drivers should watch for a new traffic configuration on I-10 just north of Casa Grande. Crews are shifting the existing two lanes of traffic to the outside lanes on eastbound I‑10 between Dirk Lay Road Bridge and SR 387/Pinal Ave. (Mileposts 177-187). They expect to have the new configuration fully in place by mid-May.
Crews are working overnight hours from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. to get this work done. Lane restrictions related to the work can be found on the Traffic Alert page. Traffic Alerts
Later in May, drivers can expect crews to begin making the same shift to the westbound I-10 lanes in the same area.
These shifts will allow crews to begin constructing a third general‑purpose lane in the median. This traffic configuration will remain in place for about one year.
